Our own date centers located at the buildings resistant to major earthquakes of Hanshin Awaji Great Earthquake class and equipped with emergency generator, UPS, the most advanced air conditioning system of N+1 configuration,ultra-sensitive smoke sensing sensor, gas fire extinguisher.
We introduced systems such as entrance / exit hall control for 24×7, surveillance camera monitoring, biometric authentication, contactless IC card etc, realizing both ease of use and security.

Facility

Proof against maximum conceivable degrees of earthquake

The building where the Otemachi Data Center is installed is safe against major earthquakes of 7 on intensity scale.

Most-advanced fire-fighting system

The data centers are equipped with highly sensitive smoke sensors to prevent fire. Should a fire occur, a gas firefighter will smother it out for protection of the clients' equipment from fire and secondary property damage from water otherwise used as an extinguishing agent.

Dialyzed power supply

A loop circuit is used to feed power from Tokyo Electric Power to the clients' rack via respective receiving transformers for the purpose of dualization of power supply.
In addition, the data center is equipped with a UPS and an emergency gas turbine generator in (N+1) configuration. As there is a reserve of fuel for 72 hours of operation, these emergency backup systems can stand up against long hours of blackout failures.

Air conditioning for stabilized room temperature and humidity

The air conditioning system is also a (N+1) configuration with a standby system for uninterrupted assurance of stabilized room temperature and humidity.
To ensure a high air conditioning efficiency, the effective ceiling height is set at 5,000 - 6,000 mm.
The most advanced air conditioning system introduced is partially reinforced with capping system for the prevention of temperature rise even in the case of air conditioner failure.The highly efficient air conditioning system contributes toward the reduction of CO2 emission.

Security

Highest-level security measures

The Otemachi Data Center, five degrees of security management are realized which is corresponding to Tier 4, or the highest rank in accordance with the facility standard of Japan Data center Council.

Advance application via web for entry into the data center

Any person is permitted to access the data center the data 24 hours a day, 365 days a year so long as identified and authorized through advanced application via web entry system.

Video recording by surveillance camera

Surveillance cameras are installed at entrance and other places of the data center for video recording of every event 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The video records are kept for a specified period of time. An example of surveillance camera
