Location least subject to the Act of God

The Yurakucho-Otemachi-Marunouchi Area does not sit on any active faults; therefore, it is one of the least likely locations in Tokyo to have buildings collapsing or being inflicted with significant damage by earthquakes and fire. As power is provided by two channels and the power network is buried in the ground, the area is free from the risk of pylons collapsing and causing power outage.

Least susceptible to the threats of building collapse and fire

According to the assessment of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Urban Development Bureau, the Otemachi Area is rated "AAA" (least hazardous), and is designated as an area in which to take refuge safely.
